Our Story
After 35 years, the first and foremost passion remains patient care.
In February 1985, the clinic “Rupa K. Shah, MD, PC, FAAP”, a pediatric primary care clinic, was founded in Milwaukie, Oregon. At that time, the staff consisted of Dr. Rupa Shah and one other employee to handle front and back office duties. On her first day in practice Dr. Shah was delighted to provide care to 18 patients.
The quality of care and compassion provided by Dr. Shah and her expanded staff resulted in a flourishing practice. By the early 1990’s it had grown to a point that Dr. Shah realized she could use some help. She also wanted to ease the ever increasing burden on busy parents by being more conveniently located to her growing patient population. So, in 1995 she welcomed Bassam G. Hadeed, MD to her practice. She also opened a small secondary location in Clackamas and began doing business as “Clackamas Pediatric Clinic”.

To consider our patient’s health and wellness our first priority; to deliver high quality, comprehensive pediatric care to the families we serve; to provide that care in a compassionate and professional manner; and to be advocates for our patients who are not able to advocate for themselves.
Our Philosophy.
At Oregon Pediatrics, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to be healthy and happy. We value every child that comes through our doors, providing care in a competent, nurturing environment. Each of our providers strives to work as a team member with parents and caregivers to achieve the best health outcomes for our patients. With over 150 years of combined experience in pediatric care, our doctors know that good communication with parents, families, and the children we care for is vital to a successful doctor-patient relationship.
