Fun Facts
Favorite childhood memory…
My favorite childhood memory is when I was 5 years old, convincing my twin sister to play that our babies were sick and we rubbed a whole jar of Vicks all over them, the look on my mom's face was priceless when she realized we were being too quiet and came to investigate.
My Values
I believe there are six fundamental values in pediatrics;
1) Quality - maintaining the highest standards of care
2) Innovation - welcome change and continually seek ways to provide quality patient care
3) Team Work - collaboration is key
4) Service - strive to exceed and meet our patient's needs
5) Integrity - adhere to commitment, honesty, confidentiality, trust, respect, and transparency
6) Compassion - providing a caring and supportive environment for our patients and families.
In my spare time…
I love to go hiking, traveling, photography, and spending time with my family.
A question I wish patients asked more.
"What should I be doing next?" I always love it when parents ask me how to stimulate different aspects of development. Parenting is hard and with social media so present it is often difficult to not compare their child to the most recent social media hype. It is definitely a dilemma of modern parenting.
"What should my child be eating?" This is a great question to ask as it is important to teach healthy eating habits at a young age. Feeding kids is a big part of parenting and I am always happy to support parents as best I can and to think of practical, creative ways to present healthy meals to kids.
